Summer 2011

Summer has hit. Teagan turned 2 years old, and we are getting ready for our trip to North Dakota. Looking forward to Len's 20 year high school reunion and seeing friends, family, and floods.

Braxton's 5th Birthday

Braxton' 5th birthday has come and gone. We made a monster truck cake, topped with several of his favorite cars and trucks. T-Ball is underway, and we are having a lot of fun. Braxton's team is the Razorbacks. Teagan has really started to talk a lot lately. He copies everything we say. Braxton's next goal is to tackle riding a bike with no training wheels. I am sure there will be plenty of bloody pictures soon.

T-Ball is in full force!

Spring

Spring is here. It has been VERY rainy this spring, but that is better than snow. Braxton is about to start T-Ball soon, and Teagan is about to say something other than "NO" or "MINE".

Winter Stuff

Well, winter seems to be nearing an end here(hopefully). We are all itching to get back outside to play and do some yardwork. First, Braxton needs to get over his nasty MRSA infection. Not sure how it happened, but it is absolutely gross. Otherwise, all is well.

Braxton made his own football stadium before the Super Bowl.

Braxton loved his new snowshoes.

Teagan happy...had to take a picture to remember the moment.

Christmas 2010

Braxton helping roll dough for Christmas Eve Dinner.

Braxton at the tubing hill at Bogus Basin with Mom and Dad. He had a blast!

Just some of the stuff Braxton hauled off. If he gets bored anytime soon, he is not trying real hard to have fun.

Teagan had fun opening his gifts, but he still was somewhat more interested in the wrapping and boxes.

MSR Snowshoes just like Mom and Dad's!

Braxton was excited to get some new movies. I'm sure we will all be forced to watch them over and over and over.

Seriously...How cute is this kid?

Christmas has come and gone. We had our "Ukranian Chrismas Eve" meal, which involved cooking most of the day while Braxton and Teagan played with new toys. They both even enjoyed the meal, or they at least tried it all. The menu included Borsch, Pedaheh, Halobtsi, and Halibut. If you are unsure of what the heck you just read, then you have never had a holiday meal with Grandma Duma. The house has smelled like her's for the past two days, which makes it quite difficult to not miss "home". The boys were spoiled as usual. We thank everyone for all the gifts but mostly feel thankful we are all happy and healthy. We certainly miss not being close to family this time of year, but we are happy to have each other. The boys keep us busy enough to not have to think about the great distances between us and our exteneded families. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas, as our's was the best yet. The holidays just keep getting better as we are able to pass on past traditions and create new ones with the boys. Take care and Happy New Year!

Visit With Santa

Santa came to visit at Cabelas. Teagan was very interested in the beard. Braxton did not like Santa much last year, but he is quickly understanding how asking for presents works, so he was excited to see him this year.

Tree Hunt 2010

Another successful Christmas tree hunt. The weather was awesome, snow was deep, and the company was great. 6 adults, 2 kids, and 7 dogs hit the snow and successfully retrieved 3 fir trees. Got some exercise, used the snowshoes, got to sled, and had some snowball fights. Great day!

Snow Day!

First snow day from school in quite a while. We got real snow too. Not just a dusting. We are missing Papa Ray's monster snowblower right now. The boys love it though.

Teagan Swimming

This is Teagan's version of swimming. He has gotten a bit crazy since we took away the baby bathtub. Just waiting for the first set of stitches. This kid has no fear at all. Makes things fun but scares the crap out of us too.

Halloween 2010

Halloween has come and gone. That is a lot of work and build-up for a 20 minute walk around the neighborhood. Braxton had to be a Transformer again(Bumblbee this year), and Teagan was a Grizzly Bear(sort of). Not much else is new. Looking forward to Teagan's first BSU game this week!
